If you don’t have time to take a seat and enjoy a meal in a restaurant, consider ordering one to go! COVID-19 hasn’t stopped these restaurants or the citizens of Pocatello from enjoying a fantastic meal, even if it is from their own kitchen table. It doesn’t matter where you eat it, the food here is amazing. Here are a couple of places offering takeout or delivery in Pocatello.

Lickety Split

When COVID-19 first began affecting restaurant owners, this restaurant responded lickety-split. Pocatello’s Lickety Split was concerned about keeping their employees and customers as safe as possible. They contacted the local health department to ensure that they were implementing the correct procedures. The drive-through at Lickety Split made it easy for them to close their dining area while still serving customers. This allowed Lickety-Split lovers to still enjoy the breakfast and lunch menu while they maintained their social distance.

Lickety Split’s breakfast menu includes omelets, muffins, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, steel-cut oatmeal, and breakfast sandwiches. For lunch, they serve salads, soups, and sandwiches, or, customers may order a combination. Their soup options regularly include chicken-noodle and creamy potato bacon. You can get a regular-sized soup or a large soup, each coming with your choice of a slice of bread. Though two soups remain the same all week, be sure to also check for daily specials. They also serve a chef salad, Cobb salad, spinach salad, or cilantro lime salad. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from as well, including ham and Swiss, French dip, and a meatball sub. Perhaps the most enticing items on their menu are their treats. Their delectable treats include homemade cinnamon twists with either raspberry or blueberry, pies, cookies, as muffins. When ordering a pie, be sure to ask them about their seasonal pies like pumpkin strawberry or raspberry. Head through the drive-through to get a taste of Lickety-Split!

Villano's Italian

Vilano’s Italian restaurant is just one example of how restaurants had to adapt to the changes. They began offering curbside pick up and to-go orders before also closing their dining room. After a few days, they implemented the Pocatello food express so they could also deliver food to customers.

Many people in Pocatello love Villano‘s and were very pleased with the delivery services and pick up orders. This way customers could enjoy the delicious items on their menu from the comforts and safety of their home. Villano’s Italian restaurant includes a menu of gourmet salads and soups, appetizers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and specialty pizzas and calzones.
